Competition rules

This page is a placeholder. The wording is written and signed off by LEJA and its legal advisers, and it replaces everything below before LEJA opens to the public. Do not rely on anything on this page.

What this page will cover

The headings below are the shape of the document, listed so the structure of the site is settled. None of it is drafted yet and none of it is in force. Nothing on the landing page states a rule that is not written here first.

  • Who can enter, and the age and residency requirements
  • How a round opens, locks and closes
  • How teams are built and how many each tier may enter
  • How scoring works, including captain and vice captain multipliers
  • The prize, how it is set, and how and when it is paid
  • How ties are settled
  • Withdrawal, disqualification and how disputes are decided
  • The permit or authority the promotion runs under, where one is required

Why this page is empty

A competition run in Australia is bound by state trade promotion rules and by Australian Consumer Law. The rules are drafted by the people who carry that responsibility, not inferred from a design. Until they are published, the landing page describes the giveaway in general terms only and does not state a rule.
